On Saturday 16th July, Horsham Karate held a Budo and Self Defence course at Tanbridge House School in aid of the Dame Vera Lynn Trust, as part of the Horsham 100 campaign, raising just under £3, 000.
The event kicked off at 12:30pm and offered all beginners, of all ages, the opportunity to learn some essential self defence techniques as well as various exciting martial arts moves drawn from not only Karate but also Aikido, TaiChi and Bokken (Wooden Sword) drawing.
The day was a triumph and everyone had a brilliant time both watching the demonstrations and taking part themselves.
Horsham 100 would like to thank everyone at Horsham Karate and all those that attended on the day for helping to raise an exceptional amount of money for the Dame Vera Lynn Trust.
