On Sunday 4th September, Horsham Festival of Sound helped to raise a staggering £1,256.68 towards the Horsham 100 campaign, a joint venture between PMW Communications andTanbridgeHouseSchool, which aims to raise £100, 000 a year for a chosen charity, with this year’s funds going to The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for small children with cerebral palsy.
With six stages spread across the town serenading visitors with a wide selection of music ranging from rock sets to acoustic sessions, it really was a day to celebrate the talent of Horsham’s musicians. Despite the rain, the crowds gathered and their persistence paid off when the sun began to break through for the afternoon performances.
Peter Sutton, managing director of PMW Communications and co-founder of Horsham 100, commented: “We were delighted to be able to get involved in Horsham Festival of Sound. Horsham 100 is all about community and so it was great to be a part of this event. I would like to say a big thank you to the organisers for allowing us to come along on the day. There was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the town and I am delighted at the amount of money we raised.”
