Students fromTanbridge House School have raised over £10,000 to date for the Horsham 100 project from their sponsored walk which took place in July this year.
Approximately 1,000 Tanbridge students walked 14km on Friday 15 July and made a huge effort to collect sponsorship for the walk from friends and family, resulting in the incredible £10,000 total. Tanbridge had been committed to try and raise £10,000 for Horsham 100 since the launch event for the project, which THS hosted in conjunction with PMW Communications in May.
Students and staff worked hard during the last week of term to collect the sponsor money and return it to school before the start of the Summer Holidays. The money will go to the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy as part of the Horsham 100 project, which is aiming to raise £100,000 for the DVLT by bringing businesses together to undertake fundraising for a common cause.
For those that would like to get involved and are looking for a similar challenge, PMW Communications have organised a stunning walk for Horsham 100 – a 36 hour 100K walk from Arundel to Beachy Head. Businesses and individuals are invited to take part on their own or as part of a relay team – for more information please visit www.horsham100.co.uk or contact gemma.collins@pmwcom.co.uk.
